Derma-Mode was founded by Susan Maruyama, who has been in the permanent makeup and beauty industry since 1989.

Ms. Maruyama specializes in a variety of permanent cosmetic procedures, such as lip liner/color, eyebrows, eyeliner, and much more. To see a full list of services and procedures, click here.

Ms. Maruyama is a breast cancer survivor and has the heart to help those who are current or former cancer patients, including areola reconstruction. Ms. Maruyama has found that eyebrow design is ideal for those who are pre/post chemotherapy patients.

Ms. Maruyama has received a wide variety of licensing and certifications:

Bachelors of Science from University of Colorado in Denver
Estheticians License from The College of Body Arts and Sciences
Permanent makeup education from The College of Body Arts and Sciences
Advanced training from The American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, in Arlington, Texas

Ms. Maruyama is continually participating in advanced courses and attending industry seminars allowing her to stay abreast of the latest techniques and procedures with intra-dermal concepts.
